Age & Level Breakdown

We offer teams for athletes of all ages and experience levels! Whether you’re just starting your cheer journey or you’re ready for elite competition, there’s a place for you at Royal Rebels All Stars.

Age Divisions

(Based on USASF guidelines)

• Tiny: Ages 3–6

• Mini: Ages 5–8

• Youth: Ages 6–11

• Junior: Ages 8–15

• Senior: Ages 11–18

  Age is determined by the athlete’s age as of June 1st.

Skill Levels

We offer Novice, Prep, and Elite divisions across multiple levels. Athletes are evaluated and placed based on their age, tumbling, stunting, jumps, and overall readiness.

Beginner

• Cartwheels, round-offs, forward/backward rolls

• Walkovers, basic stunts, and motions

• Great for first-time cheerleaders

Advanced Beginner

• Back walkovers, front walkovers, handsprings with a spot

• Extended stunts and stronger jump technique

Intermediate

• Back handsprings and round-off back handsprings

• Extended stunts with transitions and basic basket tosses

Advanced

• Tucks, layouts, fulls, elite stunts and pyramids

• Complex choreography and high-level execution

Team Placement

Athletes are placed on teams after our annual evaluation process. We consider:

• Age

• Tumbling and stunting ability

• Jumps, motions, and performance skills

• Coachability, attitude, and attendance history

Our goal is to place each athlete where they can grow, shine, and contribute to the team’s success.
